About the book
Part true crime, part public grieving, The Killing Sink is my response to the crimes of Murray James Silvester and others. Crimes where Wedge-Tailed Eagles are illegal hunted, killed or kept as pets.
Underneath these individual choices and acts of violence is Australia’s long history of destroying native animals and plants to make farming slightly easier, slightly more profitable, or because people just don’t like the animals.
My role
This was my first monograph. My approach was to be collaborative and trusting. I asked VOID to make me a book better than I could make on my own.
Most of my work with the book was connected to promotion, media and selling, rather than design or sequencing.
